Abstract

This extended essay aims to analyse how the childhood experiences affected the main characters’ lives in “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte and “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Bronte. In both novel, Jane and Heathcliff go through a diffucult, lonely childhood and these memories affect their life in every way. The novels also deal with love, passion which develop one character and destroy the other one. First, their childhood is described and then the impacts on their life are analysed deeply.
